The Friends of LLELA is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation organized to assist in the promotion, interpretation and operation of LLELA. As a fund-raising and service group, the goal of the Friends is to help in the overall operation of the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area through sponsoring events, helping fund projects and raising the awareness of LLELA as an asset to the community and surrounding area.

Hilti Helps Out at LLELA

In addition to regular volunteer workdays, LLELA hosts volunteer teams from area businesses and corporations. The construction supplies company Hilti sent several volunteers who looked impressive in their matching red shirts.
