Richard Freiheit, LLELA’s Conservation Manager & Associate Director, presented a very well received talk for the Trinity Forks chapter of Native Plant Society of Texas this spring. He detailed the mission and goals of restoration work at LLELA, explaining some of the techniques and methods used, and the crucial role of volunteers. The working relationship with UNT and the city of Lewisville was explained. Richard made an excellent case for the vital role LLELA plays.
