Got a teenager at home that loves nature? Natural Pathways is perfect for them!
The Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) Environmental Learning staff have partnered with the University of North Texas (UNT) and the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) to create a service-learning program for high school students.
Natural Pathways’ students participate in hands-on restoration and research projects to explore potential eco-career paths and prepare for university-level environmental education programs. Gatherings are at LLELA from 9 am to noon on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
