Friends of LLELA is asking for donations to
transform and modernize the Visitor Center at LLELA.
LLELA receives thousands of visitors each year. We encourage them to stop into the Visitor Center to orient themselves to our trails and learn about the flora
and wildlife they might encounter.
and wildlife they might encounter.New displays with proper lighting and humidity control in the visitor center will help us display and preserve the interesting naturalist discoveries made by our staff and volunteers.
Seating and modular tables are essential for collaborative planning and engagement by our variously sized visiting groups, as are modern teaching and speaking aids.
Sharing the LLELA message through our lecture series and other events with the wider online community will require a significant technology upgrade, which will also greatly enhance our in-person outreach efforts.
